Xfactor have exclusive use of the upstairs private bar, just for our Speed Dating guests. This bar is a real stunner with a fantastic atmosphere to get you in the mood for those close encounters.
Registration opens from 7.30pm and Speed Dating kicks off at 8pm prompt.
Our Speed Dating evenings are a great fun way to meet likeminded singles in a relaxed atmosphere. Just come along with an open mind and don't take it too seriously. You?ll have a great time and meet lots of single people and the chance to meet that someone special.
Speed Dating guests will be greeted by our Host and Icebreaker. On arrival our host will register you in to the event and give you a scorecard, a name badge and a pen, then invite you to have a drink at the bar to mingle with other guests.
Then the host will announce that the dating begins.
Metropolitan is situated in the heart of the Merchant City in Glasgow, and comprises a stylish cocktail bar and 200 cover restaurant spread over our balconies, intimate booths and private dining areas.
Metropolitan's restaurant is unique not only for its menu, but also for its first-floor setting in the south-west corner of Merchant Square, formerly the Victorian Candleriggs market. Spanning four distinct areas, it is equally capable of accommodating celebratory parties and romantic rendezvous.
